Kids Farm Camp: August 20, 2019
Time & Location
About the event
Join us for our first ever Kids Farm Camp at Bodhi Farms focusing on nature hikes, yoga, gardening, cooking and art for kids ages 7-12. Space is limited to 12 kids and reservations are required.
We are offering a few day camp dates in August this year with a discounted rate of $45 per day. This includes two organic snacks as well as art supplies. Send your camper for one day or all four dates this summer; each day will vary slightly so your kiddo won’t get bored and will learn something new each time. This camp will be held at Bodhi Farms, offering 35-acres of beautiful land along Cottonwood Creek just south of town. Although most of the camp will be outdoors, large tents will be in place for yoga or in the case of inclement weather.
Join Tanya Smith & Cameron Gustafson in this day long adventure at Bodhi Farms. Tanya Smith, Director of Wellness & Events at Bodhi Farms, is a certified children’s yoga instructor who received her yoga certification in Costa Rica where she found a deep connection with the outdoors through yoga and local, healthy foods. She is passionate about bringing this experience to children in this incredible natural setting at Bodhi Farms. Cameron Gustafson, Assistant Farm Manager, comes to Bodhi Farms with a background in farm education and sustainability. Cameron has experience in developing & conducting farm and food based educational children’s programs in Minnesota as well as harvesting & processing fruits and vegetables into juices on a farm in Hawaii.
